Welcome to Merryboys On line
We hope we provide a friendly welcoming riding school and try to keep riding accessible to all. We believe we offer fantastic value for money compared with other establishments and have been providing riding for all levels and ages for over 35 years now.
Merryboys owns over 40 acres of Kent countryside, and its a fact that more than half of that land is turned over for the sole use of wildlife sanctuaries so that we can protect our countryside and heritage for future generations to come. Further more Merryboys enforces a no hunting, shooting or ferreting rule across the lot.
"We specialise in teaching nervous or beginner riders, although we cater for all ages and levels of riding expertise".
"Our Animals are our Friends"
Merryboys not only works as a business but also does much in the way of charitable acts that go unsung or unseen. For many years now we have offered a home to many animals in need, from feral cats that grace our barns, placed through the Cats protection League to battery hens that have found freedom to live out the rest of their lives in and around our farm yard buildings.
Goats, geese, sheep, you name it we take in all sorts of animals in need here, when we can and even at times when we really shouldn't! We vow we will always find a way, and somehow, it seems we do.
We also provide free horse riding for the courageous children of Chernobyl. Its an event that everyone at Merryboys likes to get involved with and we look forward to hosting every year they visit.
